About The Role

The Urgent and Emergency Care setting is a fast-paced environment, as a Senior Developer you will be dealing with addressing the constantly evolving and rewarding challenges in delivering patient care. 

You will be working with NHS Pathways, which is an NHS owned, clinical decision tool that has been built working with clinicians to provide safe, effective and evidence-based assessment and referral to appropriate care. You will have the opportunity to support a service which covers any patient contacting urgent or emergency care by telephone, online or face-to-face to help them get the right care.

As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for:

  • designing new products and actively maintaining the existing  C#/MS-SQL web sites, web services and Windows applications. 
  • assisting with the migration to Azure Cloud from on-premises VMs and associated AWS servers.
  • representing the Development team in multi-disciplinary teams that are run in 4-weekly sprints across the whole programme.

About You

We want you to be set for success, these are some of the key skills and experience that you'll bring to the role:

  • Confident coder in C#.Net and Microsoft SQL 
  • Experience in building web sites, web services and Windows applications 
  • Experience with working in Agile teams 
  • Experience leading with problem analysis and resolution 
  • Cloud hosting and/or Virtual Machine experience would be beneficial
  • Experience using React/Redux would be beneficial
